Fourth of July

Ok so the 4th of July was last weekend, but I didn't get a chance to write anything this week. We had Gene's parents, grandparents, and two sisters Jamie and Shannon in town. Andrew and Noah of course loved all the extra attention. We went to the downtown fireworks on the fourth and both boys loved them. Noah was especially silly clapping and laughing. The next night we enjoyed a steak and shrimp dinner and shot fireworks off in our yard that Gene's parent's had bought and a few that my Dad had around. Gene and his sisters and Gene's Dad too were like a bunch of little kids all excited about it. You see since it's illegal in Wisconsin they hadn't ever shot off fireworks before. It was a fun weekend and we were so happy to have all the family there to celebrate our great country!!
