Weekend

This weekend was a fun weekend. On Saturday morning Gene had decided he wanted to clean out our garage in preparation for our roofing job to be done in early June. So he said it would be OK to get the boys out of the house for awhile. If they had been home I know they would have both wanted to be right there in the garage making it difficult to get things done as quickly. So that allowed the boys, Grandma Truwe, and I to make use of our zoo pass. Andrew was adventuresome and touched those sharks in the shark touching area. Noah just splashed in the water and thought it was funny when the sharks swam close. Andrew has decided his favorite animal is the walrus. I think that started from our Sea World trip in San Antonio when he saw the walrus do sit ups and thought that was so funny. We didn't make it through the whole zoo before lunch time, but that's OK. We'll do the rest next time.

We had gone to church on Sat night, so that allowed us to have a more relaxing Sunday morning and to get some house stuff done. In the afternoon Gene went golfing, Andrew went to the race track with Grandma and Grandpa Truwe, and Noah stayed home with Mommy so he could get his nap. This allowed Mommy to get a little alone time with Noah which doesn't happen all that often. We played outside and went to the park, fun fun!!

Notice that Noah is wearing a Cardinal hat and Packers shirt. It's OK to support Wisconsin teams and St. Louis teams. We'll see what happens in Oct when we go to Bush Stadium and watch the Cardinals vs. the Brewers. Gene said he would be wearing Brewers and Andrew already said he wanted to wear Mommy's team. Noah is yet to be determined.

Since Andrew went to the race track with Grandma and Grandpa Truwe he was very excited about it and kept talking about the fast cars. When he got his PJ's on he wanted to wear ALL his Lightning McQueen stuff, hat, PJ's, socks, and slippers and he wanted to show off the poster he got. I'm not kidding this boy LOVES to match.
