On July 26 it was Michael's 8th birthday. Since it was close to Mom Truwe's birthday and Gene's birthday we celebrated all of them at once. We had a wonderful meal of alfredo noodles with chichen and shrimp and other fixings. In the afternoon Gene and I left Andrew and Noah there for the night so we could go celebrate our 6th anniversary. Hard to believe it's been six years and in other ways it seems like more than 6 yrs. We went to an expensive restaurant called Eddie Merlot's and I had yummy stuffed shrimp and Gene had steak. We got a free piece of cheesecake since it was our anniversary. After dinner we went to see Dark Knight which was good. We don't get to see movies in a theatre very often, so it was a treat. We also met up with some friends and enjoyed a drink with them after the show. It was a fun night out. Happy 6th anniversary!!
