Zoo Trip

Yesterday I had a very interesting experience. I got to go on a field trip with the residents from my nursing home. We all went to the zoo. Literally all the residents except about 25 people went. They had enough staff to have a 1 to 1 ratio staff to residents so that the residents all had someone to push them around or keep close watch for the few walkers we had. The day was slightly overcast, but nice and the residents all had a blast!! They said they are going to try to make this an annual outing if not to the zoo then to some other fun place. I'll be looking forward to next year!!
